The HCMT Project is the biggest order of new trains in Victoria’s history, with the highest local content to ever be delivered in Australia. Valued at more than $2B, the HCMT Project will deliver and maintain 65 x 7-car sets that will service Melbourne’s busiest line and underpin the future success of the Melbourne Metro Project; all while revitalising the Victorian rolling stock industry and creating jobs, industry and prosperity. Aurora Marketing played a pivotal role in the successful HCMT PPP submission. Leann was engaged as bid catalyst to develop the bid’s strategy and messaging, deeply involved in developing a range of initiatives that gave the team the competitive edge. Our team included review team leaders, a bid whip, bid writers and editors, a production team and graphic designers. Our role continues, albeit in a reduced capacity, during mobilisation and project delivery and we look forward to being a part of this landmark project.
